Robert J. Boyce, 93, of Wallingford and formerly of Manchester, husband of the late Ruth (Coseo) Boyce, died Saturday, (June 23, 2001). Born in Manchester, July 17, 1907, son of the late Richard and Matilda (Cassells) Boyce. Mr. Boyce was Past Master of Manchester Lodge A.F.& A.M., a member and Past T.I.M.

of Andironum Council Rockville, and Most Poisious Grand Master Royal Select Masters State of Connecticut. Prior to his retirement in 1972, Mr. Boyce was the president of Manchester Savings Loan. She was the wife of the late Larry Concannon.

She was the former Sally's Pizza Restaurant, which was located in Bloomfield. Sally is survived by a sister, Julia of Florida; nieces, nephews, and a dear friend, Ruth Lindberg of Glastonbury. Born in, Henry, West Virginia, October 1915, daughter of the late, Gaetano and Carmella (Tucci) Quicquaro, she had resided for 15 years in Argentina and settled in New Britain for 31 years before moving to Manchester in 1998. She was a former communicant of St. Ann's Church in New Britain, attended St.

James Church in Manchester and participated with the lady crafters. Mrs. Cutrone in survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Josephine Evanglista of Plainville, Archangela M. D'Amato of Manchester, Carmen and Putnan Smith of Loganville, GA, Maria C. and Fred Schaffer of Plainfield, IL; two brothers, Carlo Quicquaro of New Britain, Nick Quicquaro of New Jersey; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

DeCorleto, 89, of Rocky Hill, formerly of Hartford, died on Sunday, (June 24, 2001) at a local convalescent home. Born Hartford, he was the son of the late Donato and Lucy DeCorleto, and was a lifelong resident of Greater Hartford. Prior to his retirement he was employed in the Public Relations office at Hartford Electric Light HELCO, for years. He was a World War Il veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of Wethersfield Country Club for 41 years, the Mark Twain Masquers, VFW Post the Winter Haven Community Theater, and had participated in the HELCO variety shows. He attended Bulkeley High School and graduated from the University of Hartford. He loved painting, golfing and was an ardent Yankees fan. He is survived by his dear friend and loving companion, Marjorie "Maggie" Walsh of Rocky Hill; his daughter, Donna DeCorleto of Alexandria, VA; two brothers and sisters-inlaw, Joseph F. and Estelle DeCorleto and Blacie and Angela DeCorleto, all of Wethersfield; and two sisters, Elizabeth DeFilippo of Hartford and Dolores Cianfaglione of Wethersfield; and six nieces and a nephew.

He was predeceased by son, Frank; and a grandson. DEATH NOTICES DONAHE, Catherine "Kate" (Tenczar) Catherine "Kate" (Tenczar) Donahe, of Briarwood Lane, Wallingford, died Sunday, (June 24, 2001) in the Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Paul M. Donahe and devoted mother of Christine M. Donahe. A lifelong resident of Wallingford, she was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School and Southern Connecticut State University, with a BS degree in Special Education, and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Development.

She had been a special education teacher in the Wallingford, Durham, and Middlefield Public School Systems, and had been the head teacher at the Masonic Children's Center in Wallingford. She was a member of the Wallingford, Connecticut, and National Education Associations, and was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church. In her selfless manner, and in her concern for the well being of others and the environment, she had initiated a sponsorship program for holiday giving for homeless and needy children in Wallingford, and had been a director of the Child Guidance Clinic of Meriden. She had also been a board member of the People Against Garbage Burning. Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by her parents, Joseph G.

and Mildred T. Dorsey Tenczar of Wallingford; and her brother, Joseph G. Tenczar, Jr. of Madison; a niece, Laura K. Tenczar; a nephew, Erik J.

FIELDS, Gerald Edward "Jerry" Gerald Edward "Jerry" Fields, 68, of Briarwood Manchester, devoted and beloved husband of Doris (Willis) Fields, peacefully departed this world on Monday, (June 25, 2001) at Riverside Healthcare Center in East Hartford, after a long courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. Jerry was born March 1933 in Ann Arbor, MI, son of the late James and Mildred Fields. He enlisted in the military after graduating from high school, first serving in the Marine Corps for 14 years and then six years in the United States Army.

He attended college part at East Carolina University from 1960-1962 and Bowie State College in 1972. He retired with 20 years of military service in January 1971 as a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, as a CW03 warrant officer, he was involved in variety of security work and criminal investigations for the army. He served as a bodyguard for David Eisenhower's children, Vice President-Nixon and other dignitaries. His commitment and love for the military continued through his work in private industry. From 1971-1979, he worked first as Chief of Security for the Federal Reserve Board, then as director of security for Purolator Security, Inc.

He retired from Purolator in 1979 as a senior regional vice president. Prior to his illness, he was an avid and accomplished golfer and bowler, winning many tournaments. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. For 29 years, he fought his disease with the utmost grace and dignity. He never complained about his illness, but instead gave thanks that his arms and legs worked some of the time.

The special bond he shared with his wife, Doris, sustained him through his struggle. He gently and lovingly nurtured his grandchildren from his bedside. He touched the lives of many people he met in his lifetime and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. We give thanks and praise to our Lord, Jesus Christ for everyday we have been blessed with his presence. Besides his wife of 41 years, survived by two daughters, two sons, and nine grandchildren, Elizabeth (Fields) Wicks, her husband, Paul and children, Michael and Sarah of Manchester, Katherine F.

He is survived by two sons, William G. LONGO, Robert Robert Longo, 67, of West Simsbury, husband of Beverly Ann (Miller) Longo, died Sun day, (June 24, 2001) at Hartford Hospital. He was born June 9, 1934 in Cranston, RI, and lived in West Sirsbury for the past 31 years. He received his Bachelors degree in Engineering from Brown University in 1955. He received his Masters in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania, and pursued his Doctoral degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Bob was an engineer at Combustion Engineering for 25 yeas, prior to his retirement in 1995. He was previously employed by General Electric and Lukens Steel. He was a member of St. Catherir of Siena Church and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Bob was the National Director of the International Martial Arts Kc kondo Association (IKA) and the Chief Instructor at Headquarters.

He earned his 9th degree (Don) Black Belt in Karate and was clesignated Master Robert Longo. She was the beloved wife of William A. Mertens and they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in November. Laura was born December 29, 1916 in Manchester, daughter of the late, John and Frieda (Gutzmer) Murdock, and was raised in Manchester, graduating from Manchester High School. She had been a Coventry resident since the early 1950's and moved to Vernon last vear. Prior to retiring in the late 1970's Laura had been employed by the former Manchester Water Company for many years.

She was a member of the Second Congregational Church of Coventry and the former Independent Order of Odd Fellows Rebekah Lodge of Manchester. Besides her husband she is survived by a brother, Richard Murdock of Coventry; and was a very loving and attentive aunt to her ten nieces nephews; and 15 grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 30, 11 a.m. at the Watkins Funeral Home, 142 E. Center Street, Manchester with burial to follow in the East Cemetery, Manchester.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. SANFORD, Robert Robert L. Sanford, 70, of Manchester died Sunday (June) 24, 2001) at a local con a- lescent home. He was the widower of Ann (Kahl) Sanford.

He was born in Hartford and had been employed at Pratt Whitney Aircraft as a test engineer for years. He was a veteran of World War having served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by a son, Mark Sanford of Manchester; and a daughter, Lynn Sanford of Manchester; also three grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeremy and Daniel Sanford. Services are private.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park. There are no calling hours. OR ARE.
